La Francophonie Festival (French Language Festival) in Guangzhou

What is la Francophonie ?
► 264 million people in the world who use French as a common language.
► French is the 9th most spoken language in the world. Even if it's less spoken than Chinese, it is with English, the only language present in all the continents.
►Official language in 32 states, common language of communication at the UN with English.
► An International Organization of la Francophonie, a network of 56 member-states and 13 observant-states using French as a common language who share common the goal and ideal for the cultural diversity.
► International Games of la Francophonie every 4 years (last games in 2005, in Niger).
► An international Francophonie day every year, on March 20.
►An worldwide French speaking channel (TV5) and a French speaking radio (RFI).
