About Guangzhou Foreign Experts Bureau

Guangzhou Foreign Experts Bureau is affiliated to Guangzhou Personnel Bureau and directly in charge of introducing foreign talent to Guangzhou and sending local talents abroad for training. It is under the guidance of Guangdong Foreign Experts Bureau and the National Foreign Experts Bureau.

Responsibilities of Guangzhou Foreign Experts Bureau:

1.Help find and introduce foreign experts to local enterprises and institutions, through both home and overseas channels;

2.Finance local enterprises and institutions in their bid to find the appropriate foreign experts; help them solve both management and technical problems; and provide proper management and training and hold non-profit seminars for the related institutions and foreign experts;

3.Carry out a macro-supervision of the foreign experts (including foreign teachers), approve the application of foreign experts for working in Guangzhou and monitor the validity for relevant enterprises and institutions on hiring foreign experts;

4.Help foreign experts to solve their problems while living and working in Guangzhou; cooperate with the foreign affairs, public security and educational departments of Guangzhou to solve the problems of the foreign experts.

5.Honor and reward the foreign experts who have made outstanding contribution to Guangzhou: Organize the "Yangcheng Friendship Award" activity, and recommend the candidates for the "Guangdong Friendship Award" and the "China Friendship Award".

6.Audit the overseas training program of local government institutions, making it compatible with government policies and regulations.
