François Fontaine, Sylvie Denet and Laurent Gueneau

Updated Beijing Time

Three French photographers use their most familiar way to record their impressions on Guangzhou – by camera. They are trying to discover Guangzhou –"a very city with similar atmosphere to South France"- from different angles.

François Fontaine (L), Sylvie Denet (M) and Laurent Gueneau (Guangzhou Daily)

François Fontaine is a veteran photo editor and photographer in Paris. One of his works is focusing on a girl gazing at the architecture outside the window, seemingly thinking of the past and today of Guangzhou. This photo has printed on some French magazines like Photo Nouvelle and Images.

Sylvie Denet is a painter and photographer. Her works are exactly a combination of photography and painting. She paints on the photos and recreates them, revealing her childlike mind on the minor things.

Laurent Gueneau's works are full of modern buildings and nature. He hopes his works will arouse people's attention toward environment and pollution.
