The Renovation

Before Asian Games 2010, Guangzhou is developing in all sorts of ways, buildings are rising or teared down, renovated and rebuild. As here in Shangxiajiu, where workers are fixing one of the old buildings in the area. As in Norway it seems like cantonese are eager to take care of their cultural inheritance. Also in Norway the government tries to do everything they can to save and take care of our cultural sites and old buildings. My advice to you is to sometimes lift your eyes from the shops and buzz of the street and take a look around you, maybe you can catch a glimpse of something that used to be.
